What are you drinking.' The looser stuff carries a darker undertow he moves past fast, the vial of cocaine he says Belushi lifted during Lemmings rehearsals, a friend dead at 33, John Candy invoked in the same breath. What keeps the hour from nostalgia is that Chase is not rehabilitating anything, he shot a film with Aykroyd the week before and seems genuinely delighted to still be working and still be the funniest guy in the room, fully aware of both.
